Andrew Fryman and his family came to Texas 12 years ago when he was stationed at Fort Hood. They loved the Central Texas area so much that they decided to make Temple their permanent home.

Why did you decide to switch to solar energy?
We had several reasons for going to solar energy and they all came together at the right time. We had just built a new home and wanted to make it as efficient as we could. I had seen some of the homes in our old neighborhood had begun to install solar and that peaked my interest.
During the time that the house was getting finished, a friend at work had solar installed at his home. After a few months of seeing the amount of power he was making and the amount that we were using at the new home, I knew that it was something that we should be doing.
The other thing that we found to be great was getting a 1-for-1 rate of return on any excess power that we make. We made enough power during the summer that we have not had an electric bill since we turned the system on, and to date we still have over $100.00 dollars in credit.
What were you surprised to learn about solar energy?
We were really glad to hear about the 25-year warranty that came with the system and the panels. Wells made the process easy and answered all of our questions.
What kind of system did Wells Solar install for your home?
We have 36 305W solar panels with SolarEdge power optimizers that are installed on the shop.

Wells did a good job for the guy at work so we figured that we would give them a chance as well and could not be happier.
What benefits have you seen from going solar?
The solar panels are providing 100% of our electricity. We essentially traded the money we were spending on power bills for a monthly solar payment, and once the system is paid off we’ll be pocketing all of those savings.
