Why did you decide to switch to solar energy?
We were interested in solar as we were living in Bavaria and saw how the German government really incentivized adding solar.
I knew that San Antonio has an exceptionally high number of sunny days per year, so we wanted to look into it. We wanted to have a system that drastically lowered our monthly cost of electricity.
What were you surprised to learn about solar energy?
We were surprised to learn how much better, more efficient and durable panels have become over the last number of years.

What kind of system did Wells Solar install for your home?
We have a 44 panel 13 kW system with modules produced by Mission Solar in San Antonio. I liked that selling point as I wanted to support American industry and American workers.

What made you choose Wells Solar for your solar installation?
A coworker talked about his positive experience with Wells. We had a few other companies come to give quotes and one in particular seemed more about “flash” and less genuine. They were rather pushy. Wells was rather “matter-of-fact” and was not an aggressive sales pitch.
